               RAMPUR HIGH SCHOOL,S.RAMPUR

Rampur High School is one of the premier educational institution in the district and in the state Odisha.The foundation stone of this school was laid on 06th January 1970. The school campus is situated in the heart of the village Rampur ,by the side of Jagannath Sadak which connects to the Puri dham.The school is affiliated to Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha. It has classes from 8th Standard to 10th. Which comes under Board Of Higher Education ,Cuttack Odisha.  

The effort made by the villagers was fruitfull when the foundation stone was laid on 6th January 1970 and the school building was inagurated by the then revenue minister of Odisha Sri.Sriballabha Panigrahi.

 A lush green environment makes the feeling of a Jungle or Park.The green beautiful environment makes a positive feelings towards study and mind.The long trees help in decreasing the noise coming from the road.

The two small ponds both side of the entrance gate produces Lilly and Lotus flowers.The students,teaching and non teaching staffs are the one who are maintaining the school and its garden.

The well planned school comprises Office,class rooms,computer labs,library and one room equiped with all the sports items.The coeducation system started before few years before than it was called as Rampur Boys High School.The staff office room has a direct entry to the ground in the back side of the school.

A small ground is there in the back side of the School.The school is also having one more ground 1 k.m far from the school campus.The main ground is also used by the villagers for many fairs and other type of celebrations.Now the ground is going to be a MINI STADIUM.

All the class rooms are well equiped with sitting facilities as well as well ventilated and good lighting facilities.These class rooms had made many reputed personalities from the region and they are the well known faces in Odisha as well as in India.This school has produced many Doctors,Politicians,Teachers,Engineers and many more professionals.

The school is a part of Junior Red Cross,ECO CLUB,Bharath Scouts & Guides.The school has successfully organised many camps based on Science Exhibition,sports camps.The school is well known for its remarkable success in the field of KABADDI.Many of its students played national matches and one made history by playing international match.

Now the school has started celebrating its annual function in great enthusiasm.Starting from the students with the families and all the staffs of this school and doing it very nicely.
